Marking location:

On the design drawing, draw vertical and horizontal lines on the plane of the planting bar

Drilling:

The borehole should generally be perpendicular to the plane of the concrete member, with an inclination not greater than 8° (except for special requirements).

Dust removal:

(1) Hole cleaning method: generally use high-pressure air flushing (with an air compressor, air pump, etc.); it can also be flushed with high-pressure water (but before planting the bar, the hole must be dry).

(2) The hole wall is chemically treated. After the above method is used to clean it, it is cleaned with acetone or alcohol before the glue is poured, so that the hole wall is free of dust, oil, and organic impurities.

Rebar treatment:

(1) The length of the planting bar depends on the situation. For example, the minimum length of the external welded steel bar is: hole depth + lap welding length + 200mm, so as not to affect the strength of the glue during welding.

(2) Surface treatment of steel bars. Use electric wire brushes or manual wire brushes to remove rust on the steel bars. Use acetone or alcohol to remove oil and dust on the steel bars.

(3) If the foot bolts are implanted, the screws should be processed first, and the screw sections should be protected with plastic sleeves.
